本系吳嘉文教授獲得日方邀請擔任:
(一)日本大阪市立大學人工光合成研究中心(ReCAP)國際委員會委員。
(二)日本京都大學研究生學程“京都能源與環境革命核心”(“ KEEREC計劃”)海外經理（客座教授、台灣大學與京都大學協調人）其工作為擔任（1）京都大學客座教授，（2）安排本系其他教授的訪問，（3）安排京都大學的研究生訪問本系，（4）擔任京都大學博士學位論文委員會的成員，（5）安排計劃和京都大學學生的座談會和交流活動，以及（6）為京都大學的計劃管理提供建議和指導。 京都大學KEEREC計劃將於今年秋天啟動，由京都大學的許多部門共同合作，包括工程學，科學，能源科學，人類與環境研究，全球環境研究研究生院以及化學研究所，福井基礎化學研究所和集成細胞材料科學研究所。每年，京都大學將選出25名積極進取的學生。而KEEREC計劃將與日本以外其他國家的大學以及日本的私人公司合作，為選定的學生提供跨學科/國際/行業研究經驗和課程的機會。[:en]Professor Kevin C.-W. Wu of this department was invited by Japan to serve as:
(1) International Committee member of the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis (ReCAP), Osaka City University, Japan.
(2) Overseas Manager (Visiting Professor, Coordinator of Taiwan University and Kyoto University), of Kyoto University “Kyoto Energy and Environmental Revolution Core” (“KEEREC Program”), a Graduate School Program of Kyoto University, Japan. (a) serve as a visiting professor, (b) arrange visits by other professors in the department, (c) arrange graduate students of Kyoto University to visit the department, (d) be a sub-member of doctoral dissertation committee of Kyoto University, (e) arrange seminars and exchange activities with Kyoto University students and the department, and (f) provide advice and guidance for Kyoto University's program management. Kyoto University's KEEREC program will be launched this fall, with collaboration from many departments of Kyoto University including Engineering, Science, Energy Science, Human and Environmental Studies, Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, and Institute of Chemistry, Fukui Institute of Basic Chemistry and Integration Institute of Cellular Materials Science. Every year, Kyoto University will select 25 aggressive students. The KEEREC program will work with universities outside Japan and private companies in Japan to provide selected students with opportunities for interdisciplinary / international / industry research experience and courses.
