1. Qualifications: This is a team competition, with a maximum of 3 members per team. The team member must be undergraduate student from a R.O.C. University (for the first semester of the 2022 academic year) and member of the Taiwan Chemical Engineering Society.
2. Reward:
First place 李國鼎先生 Award（Scholarship NTD $50,000）
Second place 長春 Award（Scholarship NTD $30,000）
Third place 趙榮澄教授 Award（Scholarship NTD $20,000）
Outstanding teams can receive a scholarship of NT$5,000.
3. Registration Date: Starting now until April 28, 2023.
4. Competition rules:
1. Qualifications: This is a team competition, with a maximum of 3 members per team. The team member must be undergraduate student from a R.O.C. University (for the first semester of the 2022 academic year) and member of the Taiwan Chemical Engineering Society.
2. Maximum 3 number of work per school, and each student can only participate in 1 team, which should be recommended by the department chair (please fill in the attached school registration form).
3. The competition will be conducted by written review. Each team must email the written report in a pdf file to Professor 劉振良 liucl@ntu.edu.tw of National Taiwan University (and confirmed by reply) before 5:00 pm on April 28, 2023 (the time should be strictly followed, and no acception will be allowed after deadline). The written report must include the participant’s name, e-mail and school. Please do not include the name of one's advisor.
5. Competition topic: Maleic anhydride production process design with an annual output of 50,000 metric tons (please refer to the competition topic in Attachment 2 for details)
6. Grading Criteria: Please read the competition rules in Attachment 1.
