Four students from this department, 林妤庭, 籃冠宇, 鄭羽書 and 劉冠霆 (Advised by Professor Yu), won the gold medal of the 13th lllC International Innovation and Invention Competition with the topic 【The Novel Starch/Alginate Scaffold for Fashion Clean Meat】. There were a total of 446 entries from 11 countries, including Taiwan, Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco. The award ceremony was held at 14:00 on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 福華 Hall, 福華 Plaza Hotel, Taipei.
