「第63屆台灣化學工程學會年會」於今年11月25-26日在桃園市中壢區中央大學舉辦。大會除大會演講外，還進行了學生英文報告競賽、口頭報告競賽和壁報論文競賽等。本系游佳欣教授指導的碩士生李承德和大四生林詠皓同學獲學生英文報告競賽佳作，碩士生蔡景丞同學獲壁報論文競賽佳作。
