2022 Academic Year "陳芳燦Lecture" Announcement
Announcement Date: 10/27/2022
1. Based on the fifth Article of [“義芳 Chemistry Lectures” and “陳芳燦Lectures”Setting and Selection Regulations].
2. 義芳Chemistry Co., Ltd. provides NT$300,000 for the award-winning professor from the Department of Chemical Engineering every year. There may only be one winner. This fund is donated by 義芳Chemistry Co., Ltd, and it aims to reward outstanding scholars and experts of the Department of Chemical Engineering to guide the development and application of high-tech research in the chemical industry, so as to improve the level of academic research and to promote scientific and technological innovation.
3. Application Qualifications:
(1) The winner of this lecture must be full-time professors or associate professors of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University with outstanding academic performance.
(2) The recipients of National Lectures of the Ministry of Education, Academic Awards of the Ministry of Education, Outstanding Talents Lectures of the Foundation for Outstanding Talent Development, Lectures of National Taiwan University, Outstanding Research Award Fees of the Ministry of Science and Technology (including special researcher grants) cannot overlap with this award.
(3) Applicants must have at least one article published in an outstanding journal recognized by the University in the name of the Department of Chemical Engineering within the past five years.
4. Documents:
(1) "陳芳燦Lectures" Application Form.
(2) Personal information forms from the Ministry of Science and Technology (Form C301, CM302, C303).
(3) Outstanding deems that have been acknowledged domestically or internationally (including awards and other honorable records from the Ministry of Science and Technology).
(4) A brief research plan for the coming year (A4 paper, 1 page).
(5) Work content within five years.
5. Timeline:
(1) Application schedule: Please submit the application documents to 林昭瑩 (Tel: 63002) of the Department Office. Starting from now until 5:00 pm on November 29, 2022 (Tuesday)11年11月29日(星期二)下午5時止.
The department office will compile the list and related materials before sending them to the review committee.
(2) Candidates may apply by oneself or be recommended by others
6. Term of Lecture Scholars: The tenure is one year (based on the academic year). Those who received this award will be honored for life and cannot be recommended in the future.
7. The professor who has been awarded this lecture will be invited to be the lecturer that year, and he/she must present a report regarding his/her research field from that year. Within two months after the term of office expires, the lecture report needs to be submitted to the Department of Chemical Engineering for reference. The report should also be forwarded to the donating unit for reference.
