2nd Semester of 2022 Academic Year, National Taiwan University Department of Chemical Engineering Class of 1966 Alumni Scholarship

NTD $30,000 per winner. 1~2 winners per semester.

1. Current department students with excellent academic performance or who have financial need.

2. Students may apply to both classes simultaneously. The number of awards will be determined after all applications are received:

A. Outstanding Academic Class

B. Financially Struggling Class

1. Students should have no disciplinary record.

2. Outstanding Academic Class:An overall average academic grade of 80 (GPA 3.38) or above in the previous school year Financially Struggling Class: An overall average academic grade of 69 (GPA 2.3) or above in the previous school year.

3. Applicants must not receive other scholarships this academic year. Under special circumstances, students may receive other scholarships with approval.

1. Application form (The format has been updated, please use the new version that is attached.)

2. Affidavit Letter

3. Transcripts from the previous years (for undergraduate freshmen, please attach transcripts from the third and fourth years of senior high school; for master's freshmen, please attach transcripts from the undergraduate school years; for PhD freshmen, please attach transcripts from the master's school years).

4. Merit and demerit records

5. Publication record and the first page of every publication. Only published work should be attached, please do not include work in submission or review. (Publication record (in WORD file) should be send to the evaluator.)

 

B. Financially Struggling Class:

1. Application form (The format has been updated, please use the new version that is attached.)

2. Affidavit Letter

3. Transcripts from the previous years (for undergraduate freshmen, please attach the transcript of the third year of senior high school; for master's freshmen, please attach the transcripts from the undergraduate school years; for PhD freshmen, please attach the transcripts from the master's school years; transcript).

4. Merit and demerit records

5. Household registration

6. Financial certificates. (For example: The 2022 tax income details of the entire household issued by the National Taxation Bureau, government low-income, middle-income household certificate, certificate of special circumstances, or other relevant certificates such as student loan documents, etc.).
