2023 椰林 Outstanding Doctoral Students Scholarship |
1. A monthly stipend of NTD $40,000 will be distributed to each student. One may receive the award from September 1st of the current year to August 31st of one's final year, for a maximum of 4 years. Those who graduate within 4 years will receive the stipend untill the month of graduation.
2. There are 2 ways to qualify: The Ministry of Science and Technology's quota will be approved by the National Science Council (58 candidates in 2023). The school's quota will be approved by NTU (11 candidates in 2023).

Taiwanese doctoral program freshmen who registered and enrolled in 2023 February or 2023 September.
|
1. Anyone who is subjected to any of the following circumstances is not allowed to apply for this scholarship：
(1) Those who are engaged in full-time work in public or private institutions or those who are applying for examination as part-time workers.
(2) Students from Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.
(3) Qualified students who decide to temporarily suspended their studies, permanently retained their admission qualifications, or fail to completed their registration on time.
(4) International students receiving a Taiwanese scholarship.
2. Recipients of this scholarship are not allowed to receive the following awards and subsidies：
(1) NTU's 高等教育深耕計畫-逕行修讀博士學位學生研究提升計畫補助.
(2) NTU's鑫淼重點科技博士生獎學金.
(3) International students receiving awards or subsidies set up by government agencies (institutions).

5. Advisor's Recommendation Letter.
6. Other relevant materials.
7. Affidavit Letter.
