A【Student Altruism Award - Individual Category】
1. For the selection process of the College of Engineering's Student Altruism Award for the 2023 academic year, our department can recommend 4 students. We encourage faculty members, the student council, and clubs to actively nominate candidates, and self-nominations are also accepted. This award consists of a certificate and a prize of NTD $3000 per recipient.
2. According to Article 2 of the "工學院學生利他獎評選辦法," any enrolled student with formal registration status in our college who has one of the following specific achievements may be nominated by a full-time faculty member, department or program director, club, or student organization to the department where the recommended person belongs. Alternatively, students may apply themselves to their department. After being recommended by the department, they may become candidates for the Altruism Award:
a. Demonstrating a spirit of mutual assistance and providing caring support to fellow students.
b. Setting a positive example and fostering a good atmosphere, serving as a role model for youth.
c. Actively participating in public welfare activities and assisting in promoting social reform.
d. Other significant altruistic deeds and contributions.
3. Please submit (1) Recommendation form, (2) Letter of recommendation, and (3) Proof of candidate's altruistic deeds or experiences to Room N210, Chemical Engineering Building II, by April 12th, 2024
B【Student Altruism Award - Group Category: Social Contribution Special Award】
3. Please submit (1) Recommendation form for the Student Social Contribution Special Award - Group Category, (2) List of members of the nominated group for the Social Contribution Special Award - Group Category, and (3) Proof of the group's social contributions and achievements to Room N210, Chemical Engineering Building II, by April 12th, 2024
※If the forementioned awards meet the criteria for the 林清先生夫人 Memorial Scholarship (Public Welfare category) offered by the Department of Chemical Engineering at National Taiwan University, applicants may apply for both simultaneously.
