Amount & Awards

Maximum of NT$40,000 per recipient; one recipient from each department under the College of Engineering.

Eligibility

       1.          Current student enrolled in NTU College of Engineering (excluding extended-year and suspended students).

       2.          From a financially disadvantaged background or family recently experiencing major hardship.

       3.          GPA above 2.93 in the previous academic year at NTU.

       4.          Conduct grade of A or above.

       5.          No record of disciplinary action.

       6.          Students who cannot submit all required documents (including household registration transcript, income and financial statements, etc.) should not apply.

Application Documents

          

 Applicants are required to fill out the Department Scholarship Submission Form (Attachment 3) and email it to the responsible staff member at chiench@ntu.edu.tw. Please arrange the application documents in the following order and submit them to Room N210, Chemical Engineering Building II, before the deadline.

       1.          Application Form (Attachment 2).

       2.          Proof of current enrollment or a photocopy of student ID (must have the registration stamp for the current semester).

       3.          Original transcript of academic records.

       4.          Original proof of ranking for academic year.

       5.          Proof of rewards and punishments (download the color activity record from the Student Assistance Division website).

       6.          Record of conduct grades (download the color activity record from the Student Assistance Division website).

       7.          Original household registration transcript issued within the last three months.

       8.          The most recent annual income and tax statement for the entire household from the National Taxation Bureau, or a certificate of tax exemption.

       9.          Original proof of low-income or middle-low-income household status, original certificate of financial hardship, or other supporting documents proving a major sudden change in household circumstances.

       10.     Autobiography in Chinese, no more than 500 characters.

       11.     Recommendation letter from class advisor or a course instructor.
