【Scholarship】The USI Education Foundation Scholarship for the 2025 Academic Year

Recipients of this announcement: Undergraduate students in their third year or higher, as well as masters and doctoral students in the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Application Period

September 19, 2024

Amount & Awards

       1.          Each scholarship is worth NTD$100,000, with the number of awards to be decided by the Foundation's Scholarship Selection Committee.

       2.          The department may recommend 1 to 3 students, with a maximum of one doctoral student.

Eligibility

       1.          Undergraduate students in their third year or higher, as well as Master's and Doctoral students in the department.

       2.          Average academic performance from the previous academic year must be in the top 20% of the department, with passing grades in all subjects.

       3.          No disciplinary actions beyond minor warnings during their time at the university.

Application Documents

                 Please upload the following application documents to the Scholarship Application Upload Portal (https://forms.gle/ccjmcokpCDExayzG8) before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.

     ※          Recipients recommended by the department must submit the required hard-copy documents to the person in charge within the specified period. Late submissions will be considered as forfeiting the award.

       1.          Application Form (see Attachment 2).

       2.          Department Scholarship Submission Form (see Attachment 3 , please submit as an Excel file).

       3.          Original Transcript of Academic Record.

       4.          Official Certificate of Ranking

       5.          Autobiography.

       6.          One Letter of Recommendation from a professor (May also be submitted in hard copy or emailed directly by the professor to the coordinator).

       7.          Research Abstract and Preliminary Report, or Project Report. Undergraduate students without research projects may submit course reports instead.

       8.          Supporting Documents for outstanding performance, such as certificates of excellence, internship proof, etc..

       9.          Proof of Financial Hardship, if applicable, will be given priority.
