Amount & Awards

1.          A maximum of 3 individuals (or groups) nationwide will be selected. Each awardee (or group) will receive a certificate and a cash prize of NT$100,000. Their achievements will be announced to the member companies of the Taiwan Semiconductor Industry Association (TSIA) and shared publicly.

2.          Each university may recommend up to two individuals (or groups) to the Association. Each department or program may recommend one individual or group to its respective college.

Eligibility

1.          PhD students who have passed the qualifying exam, master's students, or groups (laboratories) engaged in innovative optimization related to semiconductor equipment.

2.          Groups (laboratories) should consist of one faculty member, postdoctoral researcher, or PhD student leading 1-3 master's students as a unit. The application should be submitted by the advisor or a designated representative.
