The team led by Prof. Jiashing Yu of our department and Dr. Ta-Ching Chen from the Department of Ophthalmology at NTUH has won the Academic Research Innovation Award at the 22nd National Innovation Award. The National Innovation Award comprises seven categories, including the Academic Research Innovation Award. Professor Jiashing Yu and Dr. Ta-Ching Chen's team received the Academic Research Innovation Award in the "Biopharmaceuticals and Precision Medicine" category for their project: "Injectable Retinal Repair Hydrogel Platform Combining Neuroprotection and Tissue Scaffolding as a Dual-Functional Biomaterial."
