Graduate (Master’s) and undergraduate students intending to apply for Direct Admission to the PhD Program must submit their application materials to Ms. Tseng at the Department Office by 12:00 PM on March 19, 2026.
Eligibility

Master’s Students: Must have completed at least one semester of coursework with recorded grades by the time of application.

Undergraduate Students: Must be able to obtain their Bachelor’s degree and enroll by the first semester of the 2026 Academic Year.

Note: There are 10 openings available for direct admission this semester. We highly encourage qualified students to apply.
Required Documents

Official Transcripts: One copy of all previous transcripts (Undergraduate and Master’s). Including a class ranking certificate is highly recommended. If you have passed any qualifying examinations, please attach proof of results.

Letters of Recommendation: Two letters from faculty members at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
