The 2026 TSMC PhD Scholarship (Second Cohort) is now open for applications. The submission deadline is May 30, 2026.
Scholarship Benefits:

Financial Support: A grant of NT$500,000 per year throughout the duration of PhD studies (for a maximum of five years).

Mentorship: Senior TSMC executives will serve as career mentors to help students understand industrial trends, technical development stages, and real-world challenges.

Internship Opportunities: Priority access to internship positions at TSMC during the period of study.
We welcome applications from students who meet the following criteria:

Academic Standing: Undergraduate or Master’s students planning to pursue a PhD in semiconductor-related fields at a domestic university starting in 2026 (including those currently in the application process), or current first-year PhD students.

Recommendation: Must be recommended by a supervising professor.

Concurrent Awards: Students who have already applied for or received scholarships from national or non-profit organizations are still eligible to apply.

Nationality: Must hold Republic of China (Taiwan) citizenship.
