[Competition Announcement] 2026–2027 Academic Year TwIChE Undergraduate Student Process Design Competition
I. Eligibility Teams may consist of a maximum of 3 members. All team members must be currently enrolled undergraduate students at universities in Taiwan and must be student members of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers (TwIChE).
II. Awards The list of winners will be announced in October 2027.

CTCI Award: Scholarship of NT$50,000

Chang Chun Award: Scholarship of NT$30,000

HOPAX International Award: Scholarship of NT$30,000

Prof. Yung-Cheng Chao Award: Scholarship of NT$20,000

Honorable Mention: Several teams will be selected to receive NT$5,000 each.
III. Registration Deadline From now until 5:00 PM on March 31, 2027.
IV. Competition Rules

Team Structure: Teams consist of a maximum of 3 members. All members must be currently enrolled undergraduate students in Taiwan and TwIChE student members.

Submission Limits: Each school is limited to a maximum of 3 entries. Each student may only participate in one team. Teams must be recommended by their department chair and submit the attached school registration form.

Submission Process: The competition is based on a written report review. Teams must email their written reports (in PDF format) to Prof. Cheng-Liang Liu at National Taiwan University (liucl@ntu.edu.tw) by 5:00 PM on March 31, 2027 (strict deadline; late submissions will not be accepted). A confirmation email is required.

Double-Blind Review: The review process is double-blind. Please do not disclose the name of the school, advisor, or team members within the report content or on the cover page (these details should only be provided on the registration form).

Usage Rights: Winning teams must agree to have their work published on the TwIChE website for educational purposes.
